Visit the beautiful Kings Wood. A natural playground situated in the heart of Kent Downs AONB. Allow your children to lead you on the 3 ½ mile Stour Valley Creative Sculpture Trail around the forest discovering art installations from miniature animal houses to B52 bombers!

Godington House Gardens
After your woodland exploration why not visit Godington House & Gardens. Nestled at the base of the Kent Downs you can take a tour of the 14th Century Jacobean Mansion – finding out how it was to live as the last owner. Or you can just explore the 12 acres of glorious gardens rounded off by a trip to the Billiard Room Cafe! Picnics and ball games are allowed in the grassed area near the car parks. You can be guaranteed of school holiday activities as well (bookable in advance) and the best thing is children under 16 are FREE to enter house and gardens!
