Boots on Adventures are teaming up with Badgells Wood for English Tourism Week to delve into the English woodland, getting to grips with some bushcraft and cooking a meal over the campfire you have prepared.
During your experience we will journey through the ancient woodland, identifying the trees in the area, whilst hearing stories of the mythology that our pagan ancestors told.
After our exploration you will be led to a clearing where we will learn fire lighting skills before preparing a warming vegan meal using Dutch Ovens over the fire.
To wrap the day off we will come together to enjoy the meal you created and enjoy some campfire treats.
Where is the event being held?
We will meet in Badgells wood, Whitehorse Road, Meopham, DA13 0UF
Badgells Wood is on a mission to inspire a love of the woods, this combined with being positioned in the beautiful Kent Downs AONB makes it the perfect location to soak in the beauty of the area.
What time are we meeting?
We will be meeting at the woodland at 1pm and expect to finish at approximately 4:30pm
