Night Sky Experience

This promises to be an enthralling evening under the stars in a stunning location nestled in the Kent Downs.

Upon arrival young people and their families will collaborate to cook a delicious, seasonal soup over fire which will be enjoyed with local organic sourdough bread. We will then head out to the open fields to observe the night sky above us, through (hopefully) dark skies absent of light pollution due to its geographical location away from major towns and cities.

Families will be given a tour of the night sky by our guide and be able to explore for themselves using binoculars and our 5-inch refractor telescope. Our guide will also talk about apps to use on smartphones and tablets to enhance learning.

• Meet time – 5pm ready for a 5:15 prompt start

• Price £10 per adult – up to 2 children per adult goes free
