Kent Pilgrims' Festival tags

Carers Stepping Out invites unpaid carers with those they care for to enjoy a walk, talk and lunch at Godinton House & Gardens as part of the Kent Pilgrims’ Festival.

  • 11am - 2pm
  • Ashford

This walk by Carers Stepping Out has been designed as accessible for all including those who use wheelchairs, pushchairs or have mobility issues so that everyone can enjoy a journey through the beautiful gardens with a sensory guide. Plus, enjoy a fascinating lunchtime talk with author Derek Bright and his wife Mandy about his book on the history of the Pilgrim’s Way.

Nestling close to the Kent Downs and the route of the Pilgrim’s Way, Godington House provides the perfect setting for audiences who have accessibility needs and may find it harder to access other events at the Festival. There will be a Mobiloo to make the event as accessible as possible.

The event, including lunch and entry to Godington House, is free.

Limited space, so please book early.
