  • The Putting Down Routes team and project partners Black Girls Hike and Wild With Wheels are delighted to offer a scenic walk in Kent.We will meet outside the Knole Park Visitor Centre. Then, we will take a tour along the tranquil medieval woodland paths, where we can admire stunning veteran trees within patches of rich grassland meadows amongst rolling valleys too, whilst spotting woodland plants, wildlife and the infamous fallow deer along the way.Knole park is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and is managed by the National Trust. The route is circular, for about 1.5 miles, depending on the pace of the group, so allow a little extra time just in case we take a little longer. Please bring a picnic as we will be stopping for lunch. You will then have the opportunity to extend the walk if you wish, or visit Knole House independently.

The walk is led by North Downs Way Ambassadors from Wild with Wheels and Black Girls Hike.
