Come along to Shorne Woods Country Park and explore the amazing creatures living in our ponds. Led by our friendly education ranger, this hands-on session gives children the chance to use proper pond-dipping equipment and learn more about the insects, larvae, and other pond life they find.
The session will last for one hour and is suitable for children aged 3 and over. All children of walking age will need a ticket; accompanying adults attend free of charge.
This is an outdoor event, so please dress appropriately for the weather. Consider sun hats, sunscreen, insect repellent, and sturdy shoes. On arrival, please register at the visitor centre.
