A stunning walk along the coastal route from Dover to Deal. White Cliffs, past the lighthouse, pretty bays and views across the channel.

The Putting Down Routes team and project partner Black Girls Hike are delighted to offer a scenic coastal walk in Kent.

Join us for a guided walk along the North Downs Way, following the coast from Dover to the pretty seaside (and smugglers) town of Deal. We will see stunning views across the busiest port in the UK and imposing Dover Castle, following a path uphill to the famous white cliffs. Across the cliffs to South Foreland Lighthouse, down to pretty St Margaret’s Bay, up to Kingsland and then down for the final stroll along the seafront from Walmer to Deal. On a good day you can see the coast of France.

This event is part of the North Downs Way National Trail and Kent Downs National Landscape’s Putting Down Routes Project. Working with partners Wild With Wheels and Black Girls Hike. This is funded through The National Lottery Heritage Fund and Defra’s Farming in Protected Landscapes.
