Visitors to the gallery will see a selection of high quality prints of work by Palmer made during his time in Shoreham, artwork by 20th century artists influenced by Palmer and contemporary art by local artists inspired by both Palmer and the landscape.

The exhibition is an exciting interpretation of the traditional format, aimed at bringing the work of a significant historical artist to a local audience in a dynamic, interesting and relatable way.
Also on show – artwork by local school children, an immersive virtual reality experience commissioned by the Darent Valley Landscape Partnership and photographs by participants of a DVLPS project responding to the landscape.
A free events programme including talks, walks, art workshops and tours aimed at a diverse audience runs alongside the show.
