Step into the living tapestry of Ranscombe Farm Nature Reserve, where ancient woodland, wildflower meadows, and chalk grasslands hold a quiet abundance of healing plants.

On this guided walk, we’ll journey through the landscape as both students and listeners, exploring the medicinal properties, folklore, and subtle qualities of the plants that grow here. Each species carries its own story, its own presence, offering insight into the deep relationship between people and the green world.

As we move gently through the land, there will be space to pause, observe, and attune the senses, opening to a more intuitive way of meeting plants alongside practical herbal knowledge. This is an invitation to experience the landscape as a living apothecary, where medicine is not only something we learn, but something we begin to feel and remember.

This event is offered in partnership with Hinoki and Plantlife. Thanks to this collaboration, places are supported to make the experience more accessible, while maintaining the depth and quality of the practice.

This event is part of our 20th anniversary celebration week at Ranscombe Farm Nature Reserve. It is part of the Ranscombe Connect: Community Participation for Wild Plants and Fungi project which has been made possible through funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to Lottery Players we have been able to create more opportunities for local people to get involved with Ranscombe Farm Reserve.
