What to expect
Cobham Wood is internationally recognized for its remarkable collection of ancient and veteran trees—252 specimens thriving within just 76 hectares. On this guided walk, our expert ranger will lead you along the tree trail, stopping at key veteran trees to share their historical significance, ecological value, and future conservation plans. If the sun is shining, there’s plenty more nature to spot too!

Each walk lasts approximately 90–120 minutes, starting and finishing at Lodge Barn.
Access and distance
The trail covers about 3 miles on uneven, natural terrain. It is not suitable for standard wheelchairs, though all-terrain models may be able to manage. For more details, please check the Cobham Woods AccessAble site.
