The Putting Down Routes team and project partner Wild With Wheels are delighted to invite you to join us at the White Cliffs of Dover – National Trust, for a free sensory-focused, accessible, nature experience on the award-winning Kent Heritage Coast.
We’ll be exploring the recently resurfaced paths, whilst taking time to admire the coastal scenery, chalk grasslands and wildflower areas. Whilst learning more about this important Geosite.
Led by a North Downs Way and Geopark Ambassador, we will be learning about how the chalk cliffs were formed and our connection to France. On a clear day views across the English Channel to the French coast may be possible.
Join us and get close to nature with our experienced Support Walkers who can offer assistance if needed.
This event is part of the North Downs Way National Trail and Kent Downs National Landscape’s Putting Down Routes Project. Working with partners Wild With Wheels and Black Girls Hike. This is funded through The National Lottery Heritage Fund and Defra’s Farming in Protected Landscapes.
