You are warmly invited to participate in this workshop Making and Unmaking the Meadow with GeoAmbassador Dr. Jessica PotterMatterlurgy.

Working with scale, sound and sensing, the workshop will stretch your senses from the earth to the sky by incorporating shifts in perspective from human to more than human realms.

Using a mix of scientific and poetics methods you will re-imagine the meadow at Rebel Farm through sound, drawing, text and photography.

This event marks closing of the Making of a Meadow Language and Landscape Impact Fellowship supported by the Royal College of Art, in collaboration with the Kent Downs National Landscape.

Lunch will be provided as well as closing drinks as a celebration of the Harvest Full Moon.

Matterlurgy (Helena Hunter and Mark Peter Wright) are a collaborative artist duo based in London, UK. Their work explores how environments and ecologies emerge across scales and senses. Projects have investigated water health, air pollution, flooding and ocean modelling. Their practice involves the development of cross-disciplinary field methods with scientists and members of the public. These methods offer collaborative ways of engaging with changing environments and act as creative catalysts for artworks.
