Join us for a fantastic Family Fun Day at Shorne Woods Country Park! With a full day of nature-based adventures and creative activities, this event is perfect for families looking to enjoy the great outdoors together.
Throughout the day, you can move freely between a wide range of hands-on activities at your own pace. Try your hand at archaeology with a mini dig, join the Education Rangers for pond dipping, den building, and a bug hunt, or meet some friendly animals up close. Get creative with the events team and learn how to craft using natural materials, then gather around the cosy campfire to prepare and watch your own delicious campfire wrap being cooked with the café crew.
This is a free-flow event, with activities designed to keep your whole family engaged all day long. Please arrive early to make the most of the event and park considerately—car sharing is encouraged. While dogs are welcome in the park, they are not permitted in activity areas. Please meet at the Visitor Centre.
