Mrs Knott’s Tearoom at South Foreland Lighthouse (open April to October), is a traditional English tea room with spectacular views of the Kent Heritage Coast.

The Coastguard Pub St Margarets Bay is the closest pub to France in Britain, with spectacular bay views. Offering vegan platters, burgers, steaks and ‘catch of the day’.

The White Cliffs retreat or Reach Court Farm

Travel

Train – Dover Priory is 4.5 miles from St Margarets Bay.

Bus – Bay Hill bus stop is a short walk to St St Margarets Bay. The bus routes nearby include 12 and 80.

A train or bus can be taken from Dover back to St Margarets Bay if staying overnight.

Parking – there is a car park at St Margarets Bay, charges apply between 1 March to 31 October.
