On Sunday 12th November we will be meeting at White Horse Wood country park, which is set within Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The medieval ruins of Thurnham Castle and traces of an Iron Age settlement can be found here. We will follow the trail of North Downs Way towards Hollingbourne CP before making our way back through the fields and woodland.
We will be meeting at White Horse Wood Car Park, Castle Hill, Maidstone, ME14 3JE at 09:15 for a 09:30am prompt start.
** Car parking charges are NOT included. At the time of writing the parking costs £2 at the weekend**
The walk will take approximately 4 hours (around 6.5 miles/11 km), will include a lunch (not included) stop.
The cost for this walk is £5.
