Woodland Survival Skills
Come and learn woodland survival skills where Trosley Country Park Rangers will show you how to make different types of dens for shelter. You will learn how to create heat with a flint and steel, what a fire needs to keep going and fire safety. Finally, children will make a spear for hunting using a whittling technique. Suitable for Ages 6 - 12 years.

This will take place in the woodland Forest School area and is suitable for children between the ages of 6 – 14.
Children must be accompanied by a paying adult – £10/child £2/adult
Each adult and child will receive a hot drink by the campfire.
Please wear appropriate clothing.
As this event is purely outside, this event will only be cancelled in the case of heavy rain or severe weather.
