Bring your archaeological finds, fossils and interesting rocks down to East Wear Bay for a chance to speak to the experts and get an identification.

Working in collaboration with the Canterbury Archaeological Trust, The Geologists Association and the Portable Antiquities Scheme, specialists in geology and archaeology will be on hand to answer any questions you may have on your discoveries.

Plus, join our Geoanimator to explore what is Hidden beneath the bay and create a layered artwork.

There will also be a series of short, free talks throughout the day.

Join geologist and education specialist, Alison Barraclough, for a  fun interactive talk about the life of ammonites and Chalk geologist Haydon Bailey to learn about the rising sea levels 100 million years ago.

These talks are suitable for families (ages 7+)
