Join the White Cliffs Countryside Partnership for a walk down onto the beach to search among the pebbles washed out of the clay by the sea.

Join the White Cliffs Countryside Partnership for a walk down onto the beach to search among the pebbles washed out of the clay by the sea. Search for fossil ammonites, belemnites, bivalves, and even an occasional crab or tooth! Hear about the rocks, minerals and fossils, and geology processes of our fantastic Warren and how the Dover Straits were formed. 

The walk is suitable for all ages and will last between 2.5 to 3 hours and is Grade 5 – rocky beach with some slopes and scrambling.
