Family Butterfly Survey
Learn how to ID common butterflies, and spot as many as you can on a guided walk through the Bore Place estate. You'll wander through the meadow and explore the market garden - are there different butterflies in each area?
- 14 Aug 2024
- 2pm - 3.30pm
- Bore Place
During your walk, you will be joining in with the Bore Place Citizen Science project, undertaking one of the butterfly surveys. The data collected will be used as part of Bore Place’s wildlife species monitoring efforts.
Feel free to extend your visit and spend time at the playground. There are picnic benches and you can buy an ice cream from the Farm Gate, as well as produce fresh from the farm.
Please bear in mind that whilst it is very much hoped that you will spot butterflies, wildlife cannot be controlled and there is a chance you won’t find anything!
Tickets are FREE but must be pre-booked.
- Meet at the Farm Gate at Bore Place at 2pm. The walk will leave at 2:15pm.
