Holborough Marshes is a 35-hectare nature reserve situated along the River Medway, offering a diverse landscape of wet fields, reedbeds, and grazing marshes. Managed by Kent Wildlife Trust in partnership with Tarmac, the site is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) due to its rare and unusual plants, birds, and invertebrates. The reserve is a haven for wintering wildfowl, nightingales, dragonflies, and water voles, making it a prime destination for wildlife enthusiasts.
