Once the country estate of the Smith-Masters family, the park was opened to the public in the 1970s, while the Grade II listed estate house remains in private ownership. Camer Park is a peaceful retreat with ancient trees, open meadows, and wildlife, making it a popular destination for families, walkers, and nature lovers.
