Visiting Samphire Hoe Nature Reserve in Dover with Putting Down RoutesWild With Wheels and Stepping Out.

We will be walking and wheeling through the rich biodiversity of Kent Downs National Landscapes’ Samphire Hoe Nature Reserve.

We will be joined by Ranger Paul from Samphire Hoe, who will talk about the creation of the Nature Reserve which was from the spoils of the Channel Tunnel.

We might be able to spot a peregrine falcon, chough or even a seal or dolphin in the channel. Spot and hear some native and migrating birds such as the stonechat or wheatear and if lucky you may spot a peregrine falcon- the world’s fastest bird.

Marvel at the backdrop of the iconic White Cliffs of Dover, as well as seeing the beach and views to Folkestone. We will stroll along the sea wall where you may be able to spot a seal or gannet.
